This course will acquaint the student with the concept of submerged lands and riparian rights as defined in Chapter 253, Florida Statutes and Chapter 18-21, Florida Administrative Code. This six-hour course will familiarize the student with the requirements of preparing survey documents for sovereignty submerged lands and the issues that pertain to riparian rights. The professional surveyor and mapper will be better educated in the responsibilities of producing documents relating to sovereignty submerged lands and how the riparian rights of adjoiners may be affected.
